Brent Alan Beihl, age 66, of Berkeley Springs, WV died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Western Maryland Health System, Cumberland, MD.
Born August 7, 1946 in Batesville, Indiana he was the son of the late John Leonard and Lola Catherine Zierer Beihl.
Mr. Beihl was a member of the First United Methodist Church Front Porch. He received an Associate of Arts Degree in Education for Special Needs from St. Petersburg Fl. Junior College and later an Associates of Science Degree in Nursing from Manatee Community College in Bradenton, FL. In Florida he was the Captain and Director of Training for Manatee County EMS in Bradenton for 13 years and served as Director of Professional Training for Housecall Health Infusion Services for 10 years in Bradenton, FL. Mr. Beihl was a former Director of Home Health for War Memorial Hospital and most recently worked for Daily Companies Inc. in Martinsburg, WV. He was a trauma nurse specialist, flight nurse, paramedic, and firefighter. He loved fishing with his grandchildren and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife Lee Ann Wonsetler Beihl, at home, one daughter, Jessica Anne Beihl, Berkeley Springs, WV, one son, Jason Lee Beihl, Davenport, FL, one sister, Barbara Wintz, W, Lafayette, IN, one brother, Bruce Beihl, Lithia, FL. and six grandchildren, Jasmyn Beihl, Jase Beihl, Erin Tefft, Jared Moshman, Abigail Emmons and Daniel Emmons.
Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 49 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 with Rev. Andrew Cooney officiating. Interment will be private.
